I have here a sample for a lesson plan for elementary school for curriculum outside Oman. I want from those who are in the English department (teachers or students) to see if this sample is like what they do or not. If it is not I want one perfect sample of a lesson plan.

Problems Anticipation and Possible Solutions;



T he lesson has many new long words, so I will divide them.




New Lexical Items;



Thirsty- juice- milk



Language Focus:



*Asking and answering questions.


* Express like and dislike.




Material Focus;



Pupil's Book; page 27-28, flashcards, song, and pictures.




Procedures;



Warming up the class by tell a story about Reem. Asking pupils what did Reem want, and then what we called her feeling, the class should guess the words.



Presentation stage;



** Showing pupils the flashcards of the feelings (thirsty). Ask the pupils if they can guess the words. Telling pupils they can drink water or anything when they are thirsty.



**Presenting I like milk by expressing what I like to drink.



** Presenting the new vocabulary by using flashcards and pictures to expose the new words.





Wrap-up stage;



*Play a song which has the new words to pupils.



** Give the pupils exercise to match the correct word with the pictures.



** Give the pupils exercise to complete word with the correct letters.






Evaluation:



** Asking pupils to give examples for what we can drink when we are thirsty.



**Asking pupils what we called the feelings when we want to drink?



** Asking pupils what do they like to drink?
